Madhukar and Amardeep are both passionate traveler and adventurer. In the past three decades they have traveled extensively and between the two have covered some of the most fascinating unchartered destinations in Central Asia and beyond. I have known them for more than a decade. Whenever we meet we swap travel stories and exchange notes on hidden destinations from our various sojourns. Couple of times we also met in the wilds of Mongolia, where I spent eight years living and photo documenting the country. What makes “Trips Unusual” different is that these captivating itineraries carefully designed are places they have travelled multiple times and have cultivated close bond with local partners. They possess passion, experience and depth of local knowledge essential to provide clients a unique once in a lifetime travel experience.

If you are looking for a generic “touristy” travel holiday, then probably this is not the right place for you. But if you are seeking adventure travels to destinations that still remains largely undiscovered, then you have come to the right place.

I cannot thank ‘Trips Unsual’ enough for the awesome holiday. I travelled to Georgia – Tbilisi and Qazbegi and Kakheti – 3 cities in about 15 days. Whoever heard about my travel plans and travelling to an unknown destination with a 12 year old son had only one thing to say to me – that’s adventurous! But I had this comfort with Amardeep planning this trip for me so meticulously that every single detail was being taken care of. I have never felt so safe and pampered in a foreign land. I could see the trip way before it actually started with the itinerary so well planned.

It was a relaxed, not at all touristy trip that I wanted. I experienced so many things that I would never have done by myself. Though there is no dearth of information on the internet, but I must say that the gems of tips that you get from them are nowhere else to be found. In the end, I would say, that this trip gave me the bragging rights to flaunt pictures and experiences of such awesome destinations, with not having to move a finger at all.
